Another great memory from RIAT this year. A display by the BBMF with the Lancaster, 3 Spitfires and the Hurricane. Lets hope next year is better for them with less mechanical problems.

We have a flock (charm) of goldfinches in our area. I counted over 20 in our garden at one point. They are very hangry and regular fights occur over the feeder.
A great aerobatic display by this pair at Clacton Airshow 2017. They are so quiet!
Another photo of the gulls at Clacton. This large Herring Gull was patrolling the seafront looking for good pickings.
Due to engine problems grounding the BBMF aircraft with Merlin engines, this Griffon powered Spitfire Mk PR XIX PS915 did a great job of displaying at Clacton Airshow 2017.
Would you want to meet this big Herring Gull on a dark night! He looks quite intimidating. This Gull was photographed at Frinton, Essex and he was searching the ground possibly for food, but I doubt it.
A young gull in flight over the sea at Clacton.
Another photo of the unusual version of the Hurricane, the Hurribomber. A Hurricane converted to take two bombs, one under each wing.
