P51 Mustang doing a flypast at RIAT 2017
This Sparrow Hawk was sitting in the tree in the back garden this morning. The funny thing to see was all the other birds sitting above him waiting for him to go before they came down to feed.
Robin landing on a pot to get the food dropped from the feeder. This photo was taken just before the one I posted yesterday.
Robin collecting food dropped from the feeder above. This Robin is quite a nervous feeder and he only stays long enough to get a couple of seeds before he flies off again.
Trying out a new piece of editing software for Windows, Luminar. It is still very flakey but has great potential.
One of our small flock of Chaffinches that regularly come into the garden.
The BBMF Spitfire Mk II P7530 taken in 2015
Sitting at the dining table yesterday, enjoying a cup of tea, and this Greenfinch was just sitting on the perch outside posing, waiting for me to take his photo :-).
A lovely House Sparrow sitting in the sun waiting to get onto the feeders. This time of the year the feeders are very busy, but the time that the sun is shining on them is quite limited, so it is lovely when all the elements come together like this.
See, they can play nicely when they want! This photo shows the 3 main types of birds we get on the kernels feeder. The one that is missing is the Blue Tit.
This C130 Hercules was at RIAT in2017. I do love these aircraft, they are functional but still look good.
