BF-109G between sorties

This piece of digital art shows a Messerschmitt BF109G hidden in a grove of trees to stop it being spotted by the allied aircraft. At this late stage in the war, the aircraft were rather tatty and with the shortage of fuel their flying was more limited. These aircraft were often crudely camouflaged by the ground crew with paint put on with large brushes.

This piece of art does not represent any actual event, it is just based on a idea I had in my head.
