Avro York Over Africa

This latest piece of aviation art is titled ‘Avro York Over Africa’. It is based on a small Corgi model of this aircraft and I wanted to see how using the model would work in a piece of art.

BOAC operated Avro York aircraft from London to Cairo from about 1944. This picture is how I see the aircraft flying over Africa during that time.

This piece of art does not represent any actual event, it is just based on a idea I had in my head.
