This piece of aviation art shows a Spitfire on patrol over the North African desert in the 1940’s. This piece of art depicts the Spitfire Mk Vc serial number JG891.

This Spitfire, currently owned by the ‘Comanche Fighters’ carries the markings of a Spitfire Vc of 249 Squadron operating from Ta Qali airfield in Malta in 1943.
