I saw this family of Coots, there were two adults and two chicks, at Bourne Mill this weekend. The chicks kept very close to their parents all the time 🙂

At the moment, there are lots of Sparrows in the garden, almost as many as the Goldfinches. Next door to us has a long established hedge and they are nesting there and feeding in our garden. Great to watch.
