This artwork features the Navy Wings Swordfish W5856. This is the oldest surviving Fairey Swordfish in the world. She first flew on Trafalgar Day (21 October) 1941. The picture depicts her practicing her torpedo dropping skills with the Ark Royal sailing in the background.
