Well it has been a long time coming, because I decided to go to the full Photoshop editing program half way through doing this photo, which meant re-learning how to edit. I think it was worth it. Here is “A lull in the fighting”.
A VERY wet day at Duxford yesterday. Such a shame as there was a lot going on. After 3 hours in the rain, we gave up and came home, but the airshow continued for another 2 and a half hours! Well done to everyone who stayed on and the pilots for flying in the rain! As you can see from the photos, very grey skies.
Here are some photos from the BBMF displays over the 3 days of the Royal International Tattoo 2018 (RIAT 2018). The Trenchard and the Trenchard+ displays are probably the best display that the BBMF have ever put on! They really do bring a lump to the throat when they all fly past in formation.
A great shot of the Mk 1 Hurricane P2902 at Duxford. This is a really nice looking machine, so I processed the shot so that it looked as though it was in a dark hangar with the sunlight lighting her up.
